“And he said unto them, ‘Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned’” (Mark 16:15-16). 

Jesus said to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. To the Christian this is one of the major reasons for the establishment of the church at Eagle Way. The world begins outside our door and extends to the uttermost parts of the earth. No one is to be excluded because of race, color, gender, education or any other factor. In Matthew 12: 28-30, Jesus said, “Come to Me all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

A large part of our budget is spent on mission work. This includes local, national, and international efforts. These are mission efforts we support regularly.

Our Fourth Annual Mission Emphasis Weekend was on November 9 & 10, 2013. The theme for this was The Watchmen. It was based on Ezekeil 3:18-19. Mission Weekend was a great success for Eagle Way.  We heard reports from works that we support all over the world.  We were encouraged by the 14 speakers who were on the schedule and were able to attend in person or through Skype.  We enjoyed the fellowship of our members and missionaries and are looking forward to the Mission Weekend in 2014.
